   “Dreamland” by Alex Flame is a ya adult high fantasy novel! This book is filled with adventure, romance, comedy, and gruesome battles.

   “Dreamland” had a very storybook feel to it that made it all the more enjoyable to read! I loved the dynamics between Chaz and Myla! I also loved the character descriptions, some of them felt straight out of Skyrim!

   Alex has a way of using words most readers understand to transport them into Dreamland! I’m looking forward to reading more from Alex Flame!

   Dream Land by Alex flame This was a lovely book! I really enjoyed it and I give it a 5 ⭐:)( I cant wait to see what happens next!)
   I loved how the food(so cute!), the characters and specially the objects was described. Like you were there taking it all in enjoying every moment even threw the bad situations with them. It’s hard for me to find fantasy books to read because of all the big words but this one was easy to understand and not make me anxious(or have to give nicknames to the characters).
   Dreamland is a must read and I recommend it 100%! Jump into this wonderful book and fall in love with the adventure!

   Chaz finds himself in Dreamland, clutching his teddy bear, unsure of why he has landed there or how he came to be. He soon befriends the orphans of Kosolten and finds his place amongst their ranks. The dream- like city is a place of wild and wonderful citizens, of odd peculiarities, and unexplainable magic.

   Chaz’s journey is one of maturity as he navigates difficult relationships and joins the Royal Guard. Dreamland, however, is not always the idyllic place it seems, as the city is under attack and we battle along with Chaz and his companions to save what matters most to them.

   Thank you @thedreamlandbooks for giving me the opportunity to review this book – I have had great fun along the way!

   Likes: The author’s fantastical character descriptions are a highlight. No one is ‘of the ordinary’ in Dreamland. We have wondrous animal portraits, including cats, frogs, birds, and dragons! The first few chapters were like wandering inside a child’s dream. The vibrant writing and colourful depictions, both childlike yet expertly crafted at the same time, had my eyes opening wide with awe. I have never read anything quite like this before. It is a child’s perspective that soon develops into a fast-paced adventure story tinged with romance. I was intrigued to see where this story was going, and every chapter brought something new into this magical world.

   Dislikes: Nothing really – The author has many unique ideas that make for an enjoyable reading experience. If you are a fan of fantasy adventure and want to give something entirely different a go, Dreamland is for you!

   I loved this world so much. It was a beautifully crafted world with color and vibrancy. It was filled with incredibly diverse creatures. I enjoyed watching the children grow and play together. They were all unique and I had so much fun learning about them.
   I enjoyed the wonderful friendships formed between the kids and Chaz. I loved the relationship between Chaz and Myla, the mysterious princess who was hidden from the world. As the kids grew up, we were introduced to beautiful castles, ogres, dragons and we got a small dose of politics as well.
   The book started as a heartwarming tale about the everyday lives of children to an action filled story with treachery and political intrigue. This was a diverse and exciting experience till the very end.

   This book is brilliant. The world and its characters are nothing I’ve ever seen before. It’s a great storytelling of an exciting adventure and I loved it. It seems at first like a children’s fairy tell but it evolves into an epic fantasy YA story
